"I choose some of the images in my 4 x 4 trios that I think will work for the 12 x 12's. Some do, and some don't... so then I scrape and start again. The paintings of Gayle, Jack & Karen are fun to play with for this project." -Cynthia

Cynthia Wolf - Double Wisdom
"DOUBLE WISDOM" by Cynthia Wolf. 5" x 7" Polaroid Emulsion Transfer On Paper. BUY NOW!
"As I was working on getting the color right for the 12 x 12 tile of Gayle's painting I was inspired to create a double emulsion image of two of the pics that I didn't use for the 12 x 12. I love making emulsion lifts and transfers of original paintings... they become a small version of the piece and looks quite different." -Cynthia

Cynthia Wolf - Second 12" x 12" - Beginning
"SECOND 12 X 12" - VERSION 1 by Cynthia Wolf. 12" x 12" Polaroid Emulsion Transfer On Tile. Watch the Progress
"This is how it starts, the middle emulsion goes down first and then the corners. I started with Gayle Curry's Native American Painting, adding Jack Hill's landscape and filling in with my Oklahoma and Route 66 photos. After all twelve 12 x 12's are completed I can cut apart each image and move where they look best. Each 12 x 12 is usually a two day process." -Cynthia

Cynthia Wolf - Our Lady
"OUR LADY" by Cynthia Wolf. 5" x 7" Polaroid Emulsion Transfer On Watercolor Paper. BUY NOW!
"This transfer is from the same photos taken at the 'Our Lady of Perpetual Help' in OKC. After creating the large 9 piece tile from the photo emulsions of Our Lady I wanted to see how she would look as a transfer on watercolor paper. I love the dreamy quality of the transfers with the muted tones and the blurred edges." -Cynthia

"ARCADIA'S ROUTE 66" by Cynthia Wolf. 4" x 4" Polaroid Emulsion Transfer On Tile. BUY NOW!
"There's an old abandoned building in Arcadia with years of ivy growing along the side and roof. It was most likely a store long ago. My neighbor continues to arrange and rearrange his Route 66 icons. Now the '66 VW bus is alongside the lower half of the bug; I thought it looked good with the arrow.
